TOULOUSE, THE MARKET OF TRADITIONS | M6 | 66 minutes

The Victor Hugo covered market in Toulouse spells traditions. Situated right in the centre of the city, it’s one of the biggest covered markets in France. Seen as the belly of Toulouse, this institution has attracted over four hundred thousand visitors a year for the last 125 years. You will meet unknown folk or celebrities such as the Chevaliers du fiel (The Knights of Bile, comedy duo), who set up their HQ there. Over an area of more than 8,000m2, everything oozes tradition: foie gras, game, fruit, meat or fish. We followed these guardians of the expertise of the South-West. Where tradition rhymes with exception: a journey to the centre of the Toulouse region.
