Winter in Courcheval | M6 | Zone Interdite
Courcheval, the white world of billionaires. This ski resort located at 1800 meters altitude, attracts not only sportsmen and sportswomen but also celebrities and the immensely rich. During high season, its population climbs from 1800 to 35,000 inhabitants. Result of this infatuation: here everything is expensive. The square meter can cost up to 25,000 Euros and in some of the luxury hotels, coffee costs ten Euros! Our film crews followed families who live here but in very different circumstances: the Tournier family, Catherine and her two sons Eric and Nicolas who are the sole owners of 12 restaurants, three luxury hotels and two discotheques. Luc Duchêne: a Belgian, 55 years old, who has made a fortune selling clothing around the world. He and his companion of 33 years, Nina, always spend the Christmas holidays in Courcheval.
