The happy road home from | M6 | 66 minutes

When they leave their campsite at Casteljau in the Ardèche, the Orssat family doesn’t count on spending 9 hours on the road. Oliver, 45, a Peugeot employee, Sandy, 38, his waitress wife and their children, Axel, 8, and Maël, 7, have 530 kilometers ahead of them before they get back to their village of Berche in the Doubs and they are leaving right in the middle of a black traffic weekend! Will they cope with the jams? Will they witness accidents? Will they run into the Pettini breakdown trucks near Lyon? For 50 years this family and its 28 vehicles have been rescuing motorists in distress. Their stars: Dédé and David, 30 and 10 years on the job behind them. They’ve seen it all, on every front… and this weekend, they even have forgetful motorists who put in the wrong fuel… Further south, near Spain, Captain Jean-Luc Benoit spends his life on the highway. On the A9, this gendarme uses every means he can for supervising the 50 kilometers of highway under his responsibility. This weekend he stops a Ferrari and even calls out the helicopter… big guns to ensure things go well. Who will come out best this weekend? Probably Jean-Claude Marquis, a chicken farmer from Bresse. He is supplier to a motorway stop unlike any other that bears the name of the poultry… 15,000 chicken sold per year, at 30 Euros apiece. It’s the world record! Experience the greatest annual migration of the French…
