Summer on fire. Last summer there were catastrophic fires in southern France. Result: five dead, fifty hurt including twenty firemen, and 40,000 hectares burned, two times more than in 2002. For the residents of the region and the tourists visiting, the summer became a nightmare. Some of them lost everything. Our film crew followed the exhausting work of the firemen and shared the emotions of the inhabitants of the region, surrounded by flames. One year later, we went to see them again.
