Sao Paulo, the economic capital of Brazil, is the biggest city (between 20 and 22 million inhabitants) and the richest, but especially the most violent in Latin America. There are more than 700 assassinations every month, not to mention the hold-ups, the hostage taking, the rape and attacks of every sort. In Sao Paulo, one can be killed just for his watch or a few banknotes. Every month, four policemen die during duty. Investigation into the heart of ROTA, the shock unit of the military police which is in the forefront of the fight against criminality. Brazil is not only the country of the carnival and the fiesta.
