SAINT-BRIAC’S MADOFF : HE SWINDLES 106 MILLIONS EUROS | M6 | 66 minutes

It’s a case that’s shaken the peaceful Breton commune of Saint-Briac. It’s the home of Pascal N, 65, a former Parisian company director who has become a veritable local figure. It has to be said that the man has managed to make the locals dream by offering them investments with unbeatable interest rates. In all, 492 people across France were tempted. They invested their savings in a company called “Emeraude Friends”. But behind the promise of attractive returns, up to 27%, there was in fact a huge scam.

For years, investors had been receiving their transfers on a regular basis. But in the spring of 2025, all stops. No more transfers, no more news. Pascal N. would only express himself briefly in a letter in which he claimed to have been swindled by a Luxembourg broker.

Since then, nothing. Pascal N. has vanished into thin air. Just like the 106 million euros invested. So where is the man already dubbed the Madoff of Saint-Briac? And above all, where did the money go?

The Paris public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to shed light on this vast swindle.
