MISSING JOGGER : STILL NO CLUES ? | M6 | 66 minutes

Vivonne, about 10km south of Poitiers. On Thursday April 10, it was 10:30 a.m. when Agathe Hilairet, a young woman of 28, left her parents’ home. She went out for her usual jog. The young woman is a regular runner and likes to take advantage of the peaceful surrounding paths to indulge her passion. But as the hours passed, her father began to worry that she wasn’t coming back… Early in the afternoon, he reported her disappearance to the police. Immediately, a large-scale search was launched to find her. More than 120 gendarmes were mobilized, as well as drones and a dog squad.

Initially, it was thought that Agathe had either fallen or felt unwell. Agathe had been suffering from anorexia for several years. She weighs just 35 kg for 1 m 65. Inevitably, she is more fragile.

But as the hours passed, and despite the mobilization of gendarmes and local residents, no trace of the young woman was found… The possibility of an accident faded in favor of that of a bad encounter. Especially since a witness claims to have seen a suspicious individual nearby. But 2 weeks later, the investigation seems to be at a standstill, and for Agathe’s family, the wait is unbearable.

So what happened to the young woman? An investigation into her kidnapping has been opened and entrusted to the Poitiers research unit.
