On the frontline against organised crime | M6 | Zone Interdite

Stakeouts, surveillance and strong-arm tactics, all part of a days work for the men of France’s OCLCO, the Central Office for the Prevention of Organised Crime. Its 130 strong force is considered among the elite of France’s law enforcers and specialises in tracking down and ultimately arresting organised crime gang leaders in the act of breaking the law. Their work patterns follow those of the criminals they are stalking, day or night. It took six months to make this documentary, following officers Christophe, Manu and Jean-Jacques from the BRIN, the National Research and Intervention Brigade, as they tracked their suspects, waiting for the time to strike. For two decades officer Pierre has led the fight against the forgery of official documents. With his specialist team, he’s on the verge of what could be the biggest coup of his career.
