Law and order preoccupies all of the French today. We have followed the daily life of gendarmes from the research department in Toulouse on some of their missions and have let anonymous victims speak out, victims who too often remain in the shadows, hostages in the Toulouse suburbs, stick-ups, homicides, fraud, parallel economies, drug trafficking… Our team recounts the story of a clothing store which has been broken into 26 times in five years. The gendarmes finally were able to dismantle the network of criminals responsible for these thefts. During this six-month investigation, our cameras also recorded the work of one department specialized in armed robbery.
