80% of Gabon is covered by forest. Parts of it remain impenetrable. And yet truck drivers must cross it to deliver the precious trunks of exotic trees that the country exports to the entire world. To do this, the trucks with their tons of cargo must spend several days on mud roads that are barely passable. The greatest danger is breaking down in the mythical forest of bees. It is the most isolated region in the country. A breakdown here quickly becomes a nightmare. No garage, no phone network. The driver is on his own. Well, not entirely. There are wild beasts and, most importantly, hundreds of thousands of bees that attack you the moment you step out of your truck. The only way to come out alive is to wait till another truck comes along and to pray very hard.
