The phenomena is sufficiently significant to be pointed out: for several months now, very young African prostitutes have invaded the sidewalks of the exterior boulevards of Paris (the Marechaux). The Italians call them the black fireflies. The girls speak only broken English and live in extremely precarious sanitary conditions. Apparently these African networks supply the streets of Paris, thanks to African pimps and smugglers who are well established in the capital.
