With 12 million visitors a year, Rome is one of the three most popular destinations for French people. Far from the tourist trails, « Reportages » explores a strange and secret Rome, plunging into the vibrant life of the Romans and French settled in the Eternal City. Rita, a pure Roman, holds a well nown pasta restaurant with her family in the historical center. At Rita’s, we eat, we laugh a lot and we savor scenes worth a great Italian comedy. Especially football games night : it screams, it hisses, it bickers… But Rita never forgot the values inculcated by her great-grandmother, “Fortunata had a restaurant in the 20’s in the north of Rome, it  is thanks to here that it all started. She was a great lady, and us, we continue her work. We are the 4th generation “. Anaïs and Tania, two French students joyful and dynamic, are in Rome to study and live the dolce vita for a year. Vespa rides, “Italian songs” evenings, they will also discover hidden places that abound the city : a library worthy of a fantasy film or the amazing “popes pharmacy”: the 16th century shop is perfectly preserved just like its vials of antidotes, its toads in formalin and magical remedies, developed by the monks. The two French girls show us the secrets of a city with the world’s richest history and heritage. Finally Princess Ginevra lives in a sumptuous palace of 1,000 square meters. But the lifestyle of the Roman nobility is no longer what it was and Ginevra is forced to rent her palace for weddings if she wants to save the dwelling of her ancestors. Each reception must be a success because Ginevra knows how weddings are sacred events in Italy: “Parents save all their lives for the wedding of their children, they want to show that they have spent a lot of money ! Even though they are poor, on the wedding day, they want to be  princes and princesses as well ! “… in her palace Roman people deal with nobility.
