On June 18 2004, gendarmes in Saint-Jean-de-Losne in Burgundy are alerted by the family of Grégory Patriarche. The young man of 21 has been missing since the previous day. He had spent the evening at the house of some friends watching the France-Croatia football match and after he left nobody has had any news of him. What happened to Grégory? The gendarmes finally find the missing man’s car, doors open¾a Clio parked along the Saone. Considerable resources are deployed to find the young man, but Grégory seems to have disappeared into thin air without trace. Investigators from Dijon delve into the life of the young man and hear dozens of witnesses so as to reconstruct his movements in the hours before he disappeared. And they discover that some people are not telling them the whole truth…
