The Vitry tragedy trial | M6 | Zone Interdite
Sunday, May 26, 2003 at Vitry-sur-Seine. A Porsche going at more than 150 kilometers an hour on the lane reserved for buses embedded itself into a bus stand on the sidewalk. Result: three dead and a family decimated. Jenny Cavaldo, 29 years old and her two little girls of five and three were killed instantly. Their little brother Gabriel, fifteen months, miraculously survived. In the racing car: three young people living in a nearby housing estate. Seven months after the tragedy, the driver is in prison awaiting his trial. Our cameras returned to the scene, to the neighbors, to Jenny’s family. Has this terrible accident had any impact on driver attitudes?
