THE SALON DU MADE IN FRANCE CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY | M6 | 66 minutes

In a few days, the Salon du made in France will celebrate its 10th anniversary, Porte de Versailles in Paris. More than 800 exhibitors will be present and nearly 100,000 visitors are expected for this exceptional edition.

The big novelty this year is “The textile factory of the future”.  This life-size attraction aims to recreate the equivalent of a factory on a space of 1,400 square meters. Aymeric, boss of the Broussaud family business, will bring a 400-kilo machine, capable of making socks from A to Z. Aymeric and his wife hope that this show will serve as a showcase for their new brand of socks with original designs that they have just launched.

For their part, Tristan and Benoît come from Gard to present their OCNI: unidentified edible objects. At 29 and 35 years old, the two friends created seasoning pencils to cut and bottles to grate. Espelette pepper, smoked black garlic, basil, turmeric, or ketchup. They hope to sell at least 1,500 to make the trip profitable.

With her organic cosmetics based on linen, Stéphanie approaches the salon with a fighting spirit. She is in the running for the grand prize “hope”. Winning this trophy would allow him to stand out against the competition and, above all, attract the eye of distributors.

As for Nicolas, already winner of the famous Lépine competition, he relies on his bagou and his good humor to seduce the public. For 27 years, this truculent and somewhat crazy engineer has been creating simple and useful objects with surprising designs, ranging from soap dishes to solar-powered vehicles.
