On October 21 last, horror gripped Chalette-sur-Loing, a village in the Gâtinais region of the Loiret Department. A double murder has just been committed. Jacques Samson, 84, is discovered murdered in his home with his hands cut off. Less than two kilometers away, the body of his home-visitor nurse, Hélène Foucher, 42, is discovered at a roadside with 18 stab wounds. Who could have committed such a crime and, above all, why?
