The Murder of the Viscountess of Castelbajac | M6 | 66 minutes

The tiny village of Caumont, nestling in the heart of the Gers, is totally mystified by the bloody killing of a member of the local nobility, the Viscountess Michèle de Castelbajac. The horrific murder dates back to Wednesday, November 12, in the chateau of the old lady whose family is related to that of the famous fashion designer of the same name. The author of the deed is Arnaud Larrieu. The young 28-year-old crushed the chatelaine’s skull with a rock. However, this was not the first attempted killing by the man who, when he sees the gendarmes arriving is said to have shouted, This is my house!” For, on that same Wednesday, the assailant had also shattered the peaceful lives of another family: that of Hubert Baron, a 99 year-old former garage owner who was the darling of the hamlet of Cazaux-Savès. Around noon, driving a vehicle stolen a few hours earlier, Larrieu is said to have deliberately driven into the universally popular nonagenarian. So what really happened in the Caumont chateau? And just who is Arnaud Larrieu?”
