THE JANUARY 2015 TERRORIST ATTACKS : THE BIG TRIAL | M6 | 66 minutes

On January 7 2015, ten members of the Charlie Hebdo editorial staff, a bodyguard and a policeman are killed in the name of Islam by the Kouachi brothers. The next day, Amedy Coulibaly shot dead a policewoman in Montrouge. Twenty-four hours later, he takes customers hostage in the Vincennes Kosher supermarket and kills four people before himself being shot dead. Seventeen dead. Five years after the events, the moment has come for justice to be dealt. On Wednesday an exceptional trial opens and is scheduled to last two and a half months. Fourteen accused. Who are they? What did they know? We have interviewed people who knew them and their lawyers. But we have also met the victims and their families. What is their state of mind as they approach this trial?
