On January 31 1987, in the East of France, gendarmes discover the mutilated body of a woman. The victim is quickly identified. She was just 22.  The autopsy reveals that she had been shot twice. A local gang leader is soon the prime suspect for the police. And he has no alibi. And yet he protests his innocence.
