In 2007, the creation of new companies beat all records: more than 300,000 French people took the plunge, that is, twice as many as a mere five years ago. The big surprise is that half of these budding entrepreneurs are unemployed! How do they manage to start their company with no money and often with no qualifications? In these times of crisis it’s not easy to convince the banks. But the hardest thing is managing all the paperwork! For a year, we followed men and women who are prepared to move mountains to realise their projects.
