Jeans three sizes too big, worn with the belt below the butt and underpants on display: “baggy” jeans are all the rage with the young, both in France and in the USA. But recently, Americans have declared war on this fashion trend that they consider indecent, a symbol for underprivileged young Blacks. Several Southern cities have even decided to ban them. We went along with police patrols whose job is to ensure the law is respected.
