On March 23 1962, Gilles Dray loses his wife in an ordinary road accident.  He was driving and he explained to the police that he simply lost control of his vehicle in a southern suburb of Lyon.  Seven years later, Gilles Dray’s former mistress tells the police that the widower had admitted to her that he murdered his wife.
