Reckless drivers in France | M6 | Zone Interdite

In the year 2000, 7600 people were killed on the French highways. Seven thousand six hundred victims of the madness of man. France is just in front of Portugal in the tragic record of highway deaths. The main causes: speed and alcohol. In countries where these two causes are controlled, there are far fewer victims. In England, there is one death to France’s three. The English say that these results are not because they are better drivers or even that they have a greater respect for life, but simply because the law is much stricter.
