And yet, 15 years ago, Pascal Rigo was still a simple baker in the southeast of France. A few years later he has created his own brand and owns 22 bakeries in San Francisco. He has become the pope of patisserie. So much so that in 2012 the giant of the sector, Starbucks, offers him $100 million for his business and hires him as director of the food division for the whole of the United States.
