Investigation on the growth of sexual tourism | TF1 | Le Droit de savoir

Cambodia is the new destination for the sex tourists. This country is just recovering from thirty years of war, dictatorship and a bankrupt economy. The poverty attracts pedophiles from around the world who know that for just a few dollars, they can easily procure children. Pierre G. is French. He’s been in prison in Sihanoukville for six months. He’s suspected of rape and torture of children. For the first time, a television team filmed the trial of a pedophile. Mr. David is American. He was arrested and then released for acts of pedophilia. We followed him in the streets of Phnom Penh when he was chasing after children. In contrast, Mr. Aymé, a 56-year-old retired Frenchman likes young girls. He has just married a young virgin” dancer, only eighteen. In Cuba, prostitution extends to all levels of the population. To make ends meet, a young woman student goes regularly to the Playa del Este beach, near Havana to meet a foreigner. But the police keep watch that this “prostitution” doesn’t tarnish the reputation of one of the last bastions of communism in the world. In the Dominican Republic it’s women who fall into the hands of gigolos, the “Sanky Panky.” Gaby, a 49-year-old Canadian woman is in love with “Bomberito.” His profession is plumber but on his days off, he goes after the rich and aging tourists. Once they don’t interest him anymore, this Dominican “gigolo” drops them.”
