India : S’Yed the moverboy | TF1 | Reportages

Whether they’ve grown up in India, Morocco, or Colombia, these are kids you don’t forget. They are between ten and fourteen years old, and have astonishing vitality, curiosity, gaiety. They have one talent which marks them out. In difficult circumstances, they have shown more ingenuity than others to overcome the difficulties, they have invented an activity or found a clever way to come out on top. Others have chosen to take care of the weaker ones with such devotion that they unify energy and transform those around them. S’yed is ten. He left his family and the small southern village where they live in India to live in Hyderabad, the fifth largest city in the country. By working hard as a furniture mover, and living in a foyer for children, he hopes to be able to save a lot of money. He wants to return with his head high to his native village, bringing back money for his parents.
