Guerrilla warfare in the hedgerows | M6 | 66 minutes

For 48 year-old Jean-Joseph, the battle means a radical change in his lifestyle. This former salesman gave up his cosy life to join the anarchists who are squatting the Brittany woods and fields. As for Sylvain, 50, a farmer, he is defending the land that his ancestors have always worked. The two of them, along with hundreds of other activists, have been playing hide-and-seek for weeks with the police who are trying to remove them from the area destined to be the site of the future airport Notre-Dame des Landes, near Nantes. To prevent construction from beginning, its opponents have also built cabins in the trees. The story of this game of hide-and-seek in which the forces of law and order don’t always come out on top.
