As the United States says it is prepared to intervene, the blood bath continues in Libya.  According to Gaddafi’s opponents it may already have cost 6,000 lives. In Benghazi, an army of fortune is assembling to fight the troops still faithful to the dictator. Around, Syrte, Gaddafi’s hometown, battles are raging. We were able to accompany closely these insurgents, of whom many do not know how to handle weapons and who set out for battle at the wheel of their own cars. Ready to die for a dearly won freedom, how are they confronting the hardened militiamen and mercenaries determined to maintain the power of the “Guide of the Revolution”?
