However, this time, the extra-marital relationship ends in tragedy with the death of the two lovers. Anne Caudal, a florist from Rennes, had fallen in love with Christophe Piedoux, married with two children. He promised her he would leave his wife to live with her. But, in reality, he had made no efforts to do this. So Christophe Piedoux lied both to his wife and his mistress up till the day when the latter’s burned body was discovered in the countryside.
