EuroSkills: France in the Final | M6 | 66 minutes

Lille is preparing to host the EuroSkills 2014 from October 1-5. These are the Olympic Games of crafts at European level, a sort of warm-up for the major worldwide competition to take place next year in Sao Paulo. The French delegation, made up of 34 highly-motivated athletes, hopes to cut more than a dash in the 41 crafts in competition that will bring opponents from all over Europe face to face. At stake are a passport to fame and a headful of memories. Whether they are tilers, chefs, cabinetmakers, masons or carpenters, all, or nearly all, have finished on the second step of the podium at national contests in order to gain the precious ticket that makes them the representatives of France at Lille. Their preparation, both physical and mental, will continue every morning before the events under the watchful eye of coach, Stéphane Renaud. On the menu: muscle toning, energetic jogging, a short boxing session and development of techniques for emotional recovery.
