Emergency calls VIII | TF1 | Appels d'urgence

The team from the Appel d’urgence” program filmed in the police headquarters of Le Havre for several weeks. Le Havre is the 11th biggest city in France with 260,000 inhabitants. In 2002, in this city and its port, there were 21,000 crimes and misdemeanors. Our journalists followed the daily life of the men and women of the criminal brigade, the drug squad and the anticrime brigade (BAC). On the menu of this special program directed by Gaël Leiblang, are arrests of drug dealers, fights with baseball bats, sabers and razors, a spectacular turnaround in a homicide case, and several lively nights with the men and women of the BAC. Tonight, we will experience the daily life of a police station in one of the big provincial cities of France where the police are confronted with the same problems as exist in Paris (at the Quai des Orfèvres, the headquarters there) or also in the housing developments of some of the suburbs.”
