Who was the monster that 33 year-old Joudia encountered while out jogging? Who raped this young mother and then murdered her with a Stanley knife? For the investigators all the evidence points to one of her neighbours, a 32 year-old British man, who lived in his parents’ house close to the scene of the crime in Nimes. The man has no alibi that evening and exhibits scratches that match the blade of the killer weapon and the reeds in the ditch where the body was discovered. And, most important, his DNA was found at the scene. However, the Englishman denies it vehemently. And there is nothing in this man’s past to indicate he might be a sexual predator.
