BEHIND THE SCENES AT ROISSY | M6 | 66 minutes
61 million passengers per year, 80 million items of baggage, 1500 planes per day… Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport, the largest in Europe in terms of air traffic, is a permanently buzzing hive. A city within the city with its own security services, its shops and its passenger facilities. And yet, few travellers realise that behind the counters and the security barriers more than 80,000 people are working every day to ensure their journey goes smoothly. And a few days before the start of the vacation period, all of them prepare to manage a flow that is even greater. “66 Minutes – Grand format” takes a close look into the anthill that is Roissy as they follow, in particular, the air traffic controllers, the teams of border and air police, and the race against the clock of a A380 crew as they make a stopover at the airport.
