A dream palace beside a sea of blue, a palace that gives an annual 10% return to it’s owners, with a squeaky clean conscience as a bonus: the buildings are eco-responsible and benefit nature… That was the promise made by Kerobokan, a property project under construction in Bali that the bubbling Girardot brothers sold during their happiness coaching classes! Their clients: nearly 200 French people attracted by a good financial return, the promise of free vacations in the sun and all the while benefitting the planet… A promise that was too good to be true… Some clients, more curious than others, wanted to know where their savings had disappeared to. All that exists of the fabulous Kerobokan in Bali is one dismal, unfinished building. The vegetable walls are made of good old-fashioned grey cinder blocks. Where have the 12 to 18 millions advanced by the clients gone to? No idea… What is certain is that some investors are now totally ruined.
