Bailiffs: facing the crisis | M6 | 66 minutes

40 year-old Michele sometimes finds it hard to unwind after a day’s work. Mother of a family, she is taking over her father’s bailiff’s practice in the village of Millas near Perpignan. And every day, in this crisis period, she is confronted by the increasing difficulties of the people from whom she tries to recover unpaid sums. For example there’s the couple who opened a country grocery store that went bankrupt. They owe 77,000 Euros to the bank, but they no longer own a thing and Michele will leave their house without having recovered a penny. And more and more frequently, Michele has to attend the evictions of penniless tenants. A report in the footsteps of a bailiff dealing with the crisis.
