In France, smokers are getting younger and younger and more and more dependent. The figures are alarming: the average age for the first cigarette is eleven years and four months. And in violation of the Evin law, a lot of public high schools let the students smoke within the school. Almost one upon two high school students are smokers. Several of these young people hooked to tobacco have agreed to talk about it. The gravest case is Amir’s, 23 years old, hospitalized for a bronchopulmonary cancer and who has for years been mixing tobacco and cannabis.
