A TOO PERFECT SUSPECT? | M6 | 66 minutes

One night in January, in Switzerland, the police get an emergency call. It comes from Laurent Ségalat, a well-known scientist, who claims to have found the lifeless body of Catherine, his father’s wife, in her house overlooking Lausanne. Her skull had been fractured, probably by blows from a hammer. Immediately, Laurent Ségalat is suspected by the investigators: it took him an hour to call for police, after having moved the body and cleaned up spilt blood. But why would the man have wanted to kill his stepmother, with whom he appeared to get along well? Now in prison, the suspect proclaims his innocence and the whole family is coming to his defense.
