THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE SHOW | M6 | 66 minutes

Driving your RV or towing your caravan/trailer is increasingly fashionable in France. And with its 700,000 places allotted to them, France has also become the world’s second largest provider after the United States. It’s a flourishing sector with an annual get-together than cannot be missed: the leisure vehicle fair at Le Bourget.

It’s the stand-out event for fans of RVs and caravans. And here, they are catered for: 200,000 m2 devoted to them. Constructors from all over the world exhibit their latest products and gadgets of every sort. Enough to interest the expected 100,000 visitors to this year’s 52nd edition. For the constructors, the stakes are enormous: sales at the show represent nearly 30% of their annual turnover. And to pamper future buyers, the show’s organizers have everything planned. Like the 100,000 m2 camp site, where they can stay for the entire show: the biggest site in France !

To entertain the thousands of visitors, evening events are held throughout the week. And the star that everyone is waiting to see: Johnny Rock, Johnny Hallyday’s official look-alike, whose job is to set the place alight! Because, unlike other Paris shows, the leisure vehicle version has a soul: that of a huge family of RVers and caravaners.
