Pink for a girl, blue for a boy | Les dossiers de Téva | Téva

When it comes to toys, clichés die hard. Why do we tend to give a pink doll to a little girl and a blue truck to a little boy? Should we continue to distinguish between masculine and feminine when choosing presents for a child? Or, on the contrary, should we blur the differences between the sexes, both at home and at school? What is the role of parents? We investigated in France, with families, at toy manufacturers and in stores. Has the world of toys become too sexist? How do we avoid falling into the marketing profile? We also went to Sweden, where equality between the sexes is strictly observed from the earliest age. There, boys are allowed to wear dresses and girls can play with chainsaws!
