She is only 33. Myriam Salah Eddine is deputy mayor in Marseille for already six years. In this city, she is the first woman ofNorth African origin to do this job.In France, only an elected official on ten is a woman. However, women represent more half of the voters.Nothing destined Myriam to sit at the town council of the second town of France. Ten years ago, she left her native Riviera to come to Marseille, to work in the building trade. At that time, a big name of politics noticed her strong personality.
