In 2007 the authorities recorded no less than one desecration of a grave every four days in France. And ten cemeteries have been desecrated by Satanists since the beginning of 2008. Are these isolated acts or the work of organised groups, slaking their thirst for the devil? Because Satanist acronyms are found increasingly often on graves in cemeteries or inside churches. What is the purpose of such desecration? Do they have any relation to the activities of small groups of neo-Nazis? We tried to get a better understanding of this trend with its dark aspirations.
