A few months ago Zone Interdite brought you the lives of those French people who drive without a licence. There are nearly 400,000 of them driving illegally like this. Getting a driving licence is always a difficult challenge. We followed young Bastien, 19, who after two failures, finally managed to get this magic ticket to landing a job. What’s happened to him since? Has Bastien managed to avoid accidents despite his absent-minded side? Or has he put a dent in dad’s car? Or worse, his boss’? Zone Interdite also looked at the case of Claude, who was driving without a licence in order to keep on working. Has he managed to avoid police checks? Has he managed to take his test again and return to legality or is he still driving as an outlaw?
