On May 21, 2000, the trial known as the “Time Sharing” trial began. A long trial over fraudulent practices which victimized 3000 to 4000 people. The ten organizers are accused of “false advertising, gang swindling and confidence tricks.” They sold vacation weeks in “idyllic” residences all around the world and in “paradise spots.” Lots of couples, especially retired people, lost their savings, in this swindle.
