On the shelves there are always the old regulars: Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Gala. However, each year, producers launch new varieties with exotic names: Fuji, Kanzi, Pink Lady and Red Love… each one lovelier and shapelier. Do these plastic-perfect apples conceal some secret?
