Doctors of Tomorrow – season 1, episode 2/4 | Case documentaire | France 4

In this series of documentaries we follow medical interns who struggle day after day to learn their trades. From the operating theatre to the ER to the General Medical department we shadow their daily doubts and mistakes when confronted with this very special profession. David and Delphine are surgeons, Paul works in Emergency, Sixtine is an obstetrician/ gynecologist and François is a GP. They all have one point in common: to one day become a major doctor and save lives. They are at different stages of their training, some at the very beginning of their course and others just a few months away from the title of doctor. How do they experience this period of internship, confronted with the many stories, sometimes benign, sometimes dramatic, of their patients? How are they trained and supported by their seniors? Discover what lies within this profession so heavy with risk where medical decisions can very quickly lead to serious consequences.
