A look behind the scenes at Marineland, Antibes, Europe’s biggest marine animal park. A critical year for the park’s teams, who reopened their doors following the storm that destroyed everything in October 2015. For the first time in 45 years the park was forced to close, with the fear it might never open again. After six months of work, Marineland was able to welcome fresh visitors, but preparation for the summer was delayed. Film crews followed the work of keepers, trainers and veterinarians preparing for the arrival of thousands of vacationers during the high season. Amidst the sharks, turtles, penguins, otters, dolphins and killer whales preparations behind the scenes are not that simple, even if on the surface the magic still works.
